A real life math scenario is construction. The problem would be to construct a building drawing. These are done by architects. An architect uses math daily in order to ensure the measurements of a building are correct. If the measurements were incorrect, then that would mean buildings would be off, which could be a hazard for those people working in the buildings. Architects use mathematics to make measurements and ensure that the measurements are correct. One way this could be applied is in technology class. Students would be able to build a bridge from modeling materials.
Applying real-life scenarios in classroom for math and science allow students to see how important those common daily scenarios can be.
