In addition, understanding the meaning of terminology can make you an effective teacher, because you will have the means to understand the needs of the particular student. In any career, understanding the terminology helps you communicate with one’s peers and understand the particular needs of that individual. In education, understanding our students is a main goal. As a teacher, I know I will be evaluating the way my students learn and coordinating my lessons appropriately to satisfy my student’s needs and comprehension of the lesson. Knowing and understanding the students needs is a key factor to student success in school.
