I believe climate and culture can have a big aspect on teaching experience. Every culture is different; America is the melting pot for culture today, and with the variety of culture, come a variety of approaches to teaching. Each teacher is unique to his or her own teaching style, and this can have an affect on an individual. Culture of the school is extremely important, because this can affect the work ethic of every individual around. The school operates on a variety of levels, administration, educators, students, security, and maintenance. Each of these groups coincides with one another to work together effectively. This would affect my student teaching experience because I enter as the “new” person; a ‘stranger’ so to speak coming in to observe this delicate operation, and work with new individuals who I may or may not agree with. I find that when working with new people or at new places, it is important to observe the culture around you to get an understanding of the functioning within the environment.
